This session will provide an introduction to Cynefin and how it provides an alternative approach to dealing with uncertainty that we often face. It will provide an introduction to complexity adaptive system along with practices and simple techniques that Cynefin provide to complement traditional approaches to project and programme.

It will also consider the differences between possibilities, opportunities, hypotheses and options and what exploration versus exploitation means. This leads onto the Cynefin approach to portfolio management, idea formation and review.
